Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) Cat

Bear the Cat needs a home

On the spectrum of bears, our Bear is more Winnie than grizzly. He will enjoy the occasional wander and the occasional love-fight with a human hand but mostly prefers a life of leisure and care-free enjoyment. His days are mostly filled with lounging, loafing, food, and cuddles. He can be found at close distance to his humans most hours of the day, chirping and purring, padding after them if they appear to be heading towards the kitchen.

It is remarkable that this same cat is somehow a 1 y/o male, born feral, and only recently neutered. In fact, it's only been a couple of months since he was living with a local colony of feral cats. Needless to say, he adapted to the lifestyle of an aged, doted-uponlapcat with little trouble!

Oh, and the grooming! The man is constantly working on his sheen. You will not find a more preened, immaculate cat.

That is not to say that he is fully civilized and domestic. He is down to only four teeth - his upper and lower canines (the others were damaged by infection to the point that they were removed by a vet) - but can sometimes dig those teeth in a little too painfully when playing with a human hand.
